I SO recommend this place. We spent one night there on our first night of holidays. Hosts are two Dutch ladies, 5 dogs, 2 cats, as well as goats and hens :) It's an isolated place in the valley. The place consists of various buildings built in lime stone, very authentic. The silence of this place makes you forget everything else and all your trouble ! We slept like babies in our of their double rooms but they also offer glamping, caravans, a little house. So there is what you need, for sure. Pricing is very reasonable, not to say cheap ! Also, dinners and breakfasts are delicious. Go there ! No way you'll regret if you're looking for peace and quiet in the heart of Portugal !
I was really lucky to share the experience of staying to weeks at Quinta da Fonte with my girlfriend! The hosts (Lied and Joey) are amazing peiple with the best stories ever, thus we are vegans and we got the most amazing meals in there. Also the view around is beautiful and its a great place to have a peaceful getaway!
